The Queensland Country Bank Food & Wine Fiesta is the hot spot to hang out on the main weekend (the second weekend) of the Stanthorpe Apple & Grape Harvest Festival. ![]() It’s the central meeting point of the festival, laid back, chilling out under the trees, affordable, family-friendly and of course full of food, wine and festival vibes. We are so excited to be attending the Food & Wine Fiestaagain this year. There are 10 days packed with family fun, from street parades to foodies markets, buskers and live entertainment. The Stanthorpe Apple & Grape Festival is a true feast for all the senses. It’s in Stanthorpe, heart of the Granite Belt Wine Region, on the New England Highway just north of the NSW border. Stanthorpe is less than three hours drive from Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Byron, Armidale, Dalby and Goondiwindi, a bit more from the Sunshine Coast, two hours from Lismore and the Northern Rivers, and a comfortable two hours from Toowoomba. The biennial festival is a celebration of the Granite Belt region’s produce and booming wine industry. An average of 60,000 people attend the festival and this is arguably Australia’s leading harvest festival having a successful track record spanning five decades. The Stanthorpe Apple & Grape Harvest Festival is one of Queensland’s longest-running and most successful Festivals! The 2022 festival will run from Friday 25 February to Sunday 6 March. 4 - 6 March is what is known as the 'big weekend', with the Grand Parade and grape crushing fun. ![]()
